Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 29, 2026

This policy explains what information DailyBrainz (dailybrainz.com) handles when you use the site, and what choices you have. We try to keep it short and clear.

What we do not ask for

You do not need an account to play. We do not ask for your name, email address or postal address to use the quizzes and games. The age you enter on the home page is only used to adapt the challenges to you.

What happens in your browser

The daily challenges (Daily Quiz, True or False, Guess The Number and Timeline Challenge) and the topic quizzes are played on the page you are viewing. Your answers are used to show you your result. We do not ask you to send us your answers in order to play.

Cookies

A cookie is a small text file stored on your device by your browser. On this site, cookies are set by the third-party services listed below: one for audience measurement and one for advertising. You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. If you do, the site should still work, but some ads or statistics may behave differently.

Third-party services

Google Analytics 4

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used, for example which pages are visited and how visitors reach us. Google Analytics uses cookies and may collect information such as your IP address, device and browser type, and pages viewed. We use this information in aggregate to improve the site. We do not use it to identify you personally.

Google AdSense

We display ads through Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies to show ads based on your visits to this site and other sites. This can include personalized advertising, where the ads you see are chosen using your browsing activity. Advertising cookies let Google and its partners measure ads and limit how often you see the same ad.

Turning off personalized ads does not remove ads. It means the ads shown are less based on your interests.

How we use information

We do not sell personal information.

Children

DailyBrainz is a general-audience quiz site. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you think a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal data held about you, to correct or delete it, to object to or restrict its use, to withdraw consent, and to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. Because we do not run accounts, most data linked to your visit is held by the third-party services above. You can use the Google links in this policy and your browser settings to control it. For any request about data we hold directly, write to us.

Data retention and security

Retention periods for analytics and advertising data are set by Google under its own policies. We only keep the messages you send us by email for as long as needed to answer you and follow up.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the site or the services we use change. The date at the top shows the latest update.
